During the opening ceremony of the Georgia Summit on Volunteerism, presented by Hands On Georgia, Governor Sonny Perdue awarded $100,000 in state challenge grants to 13 Georgia communities. The organizations representing these communities are committed to implement community based volunteer recruitment and management programs.
