Hands On Georgia Presents the Volunteer of the Year Award

When it comes to Georgians helping Georgians, the boundaries of service are limitless.  Measuring the generosity offered and the kindness received presents a challenge indeed.  Imagine then the task Hands On Georgia has assigned itself in determining Georgia's Volunteer of the Year!

The distinct honor will be bestowed upon one of the state's dedicated volunteers by Governor Perdue during the Georgia Summit on Volunteerism, November 1 at Georgia International Convention Center in College Park. 

Nominations are being accepted now for the Georgia Volunteer of the Year.  Nominate your volunteer candidate today!  All nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2007. Winner should be present to accept their award at the Georgia Volunteer Summit.  Summit registration can be found on HandsOnGeorgia.org.
