In March Hands On Georgia distributed
grants to 12 Georgia communities interested in building organizational capacity
and implementing Hands On programming. With nearly all of the recipients meeting
their match requirements, they are well on their way to realizing success in
their volunteer management activities and administrative growth initiatives.
Thirty-five representatives from affiliates and Challenge Grant communities
in the state participated in Hands On Georgia's first Affiliate Retreat.
Participants from Rome to Thomas County gathered in Atlanta the first week of
June gathering information on ways to further their organizational development
and better serve their communities.
Hands On Georgia is pleased to welcome two new affiliates to its network.
Hands On Adairsville and Hands On Ogeechee are the newest members to join the Hands
